Self Centering Rotator (Screw Type)
An improved type of welding rotator for positioning and rotating cylindrical workpieces during welding, assembly, or other fabrication processes is a self-Centering rotator, more especially the screw type. Its capacity to automatically alter the distance between the rollers to suit workpieces of varying diameters without the need for hand bolting or adjustments is its main benefit over traditional (bolt type) rotators.
Many industries utilize self-Centering rotators to rotate and place cylindrical workpieces precisely. Submerged Arc Welding (SAW), MIG, and TIG welding procedures, as well as the circumferential welding of pipes, tanks, and pressure vessels, are among its uses. They are also employed in the production of wind towers and heavy machinery, as well as in surface treatment, coating applications, inspection, and assembly.
